On February 10, 2023, Mike Reece attended Collateral Damage: Assessing & Mitigating the Far Reaching Consequences of a DWI. This six hour virtual seminar was presented by the North Carolina Advocates for Justice. Topics included the effects of a DWI on employment, military service, and immigration status. Additionally, attendees learned about the DWI assessment process and how to help their clients benefit from the assessment and, if recommended, treatment.
